Add notes to a customer

To add notes to a customer, you first need to open the customer you wish to add notes to. You can open a customer directly from any of the following areas within VGM:

  • Bookings
  • Jobsheets
  • Quotations
  • Sales Invoices
  • Sales Credits

However the easiest way to open a customer’s details is through the customers grid. To do this, click on “Search” in the top left of the top menu, and then click on “Customers”. Double click on any customer to access that customer’s details.

To add a note to the open customer, click on the “Notes” tab on the tab strip in the “Edit Customer” window. Type any notes into the text box provided, and then click on “Save” in the bottom-right of the window.
